Traci Bartee, Owner

Fly Fitness owner Traci Bartee has more than 15 years’ experience in the fitness industry. Her professional journey with fitness began as a trainer in Westport, CN back in 2000 where she co-owned and operated a personal training studio. When she moved to Seattle in 2005, her passion for fitness continued to grow and so did her clientele! Fly Fitness was born from the expression of Traci's passions: people, fitness, entertaining, creating, and helping others to live their best lives. Her goal was to create a place that fused exercise and socializing because she believes that it’s always easier to get to a work out class if you know your friends (new and old) are going to be there. She also believes that if you’re having fun while working to accomplish your personal fitness goals, you’ll have a greater chance of doing so. 

Traci's efforts to provide a healthy, balanced lifestyle philosophy, have gotten her noticed. In the few short years since she moved to the Northwest, she has earned the respect of the fitness community as evidenced by Allure Magazine naming her Top Trainer in the Northwest and King 5 News naming her in the top 5 trainers in the Northwest. She was also an ambassador for lululemon athletica in 2007 and 2009.

In her own words, “Sweat once a day, eat healthy most of the time, BUT rest when your body is telling you to and for goodness-sakes, have a glass a wine or eat that cookie if you really want to! Life is too short to live with too many constrictions.”

Angela Tepper

Angela, an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and a Registered Yoga Teacher, is passionate about providing safe and challenging total body workouts. The one constant in her life experiences as she received a B.A. from the University of Washington, performed as a Seattle Seahawk Cheerleader, and studied theater in Los Angeles was maintaining a strong body and mind through thoughtful exercise. Now, as a married mother of three, she is more invigorated than ever to maintain a balanced, active and healthy lifestyle. She wants to help others do the same in mindfully moving toward their goals. Angela’s certifications include: RYT 200 by White Lotus (Santa Barbara), Barre by Exhale (New York City), Schwinn Indoor Cycling, Spinning, and TRX.

Becky Evans

Becky is a certified TRX suspension instructor through TRX Training and a certified spinning instructor through Precor.  Becky was born in Roseville, California and played Division I tennis while earning her Bachelor Degree from The University of California at Irvine where she majored in Sociology and minored in Education. She has been a competitive athlete in tennis and track her whole life and when she's not in the gym she can be found teaching people how to play tennis. Her passion for sports, fitness, and coaching are apparent in her workouts and she hopes to see you at Fly!

Casey Brown

Watching her mom at Jazzercise classes at just 2 years old, Casey was exposed to the supportive, community atmosphere of group fitness. Always attracted to the health and fitness industry, in 2007 Casey began a career with Lululemon Athletica as the community events and marketing manager. Working closely with the best local gyms and studios allowed her to learn from expert instructors. This led to teaching outdoor boot camps under the tutelage of Traci Bartee in 2008. In 2010, when Casey took her first Booty Barre class, she was hooked. It is a perfect combination of everything she loves; yoga, ballet, and cardiovascular training. Casey went on to complete world-renowned fitness expert Tracey Mallett’s very first Booty Barre certification course. Blending the styles of her mentors along the way, Casey leads a challenging, fun and innovative class. Her motto is demonstrated in each class; you are stronger than you think you are and you must push beyond what’s comfortable to see change! In her off time, Casey enjoys hiking, yoga, stand up paddle boarding and spending time with her husband, Josh.

Charlee Van Wagenen

Charlee has always been passionate about sports and fitness. From a very young age through High School, she was a competitive soccer player, swimmer, and nationally competitive cheerleader. Her passion for sports and curiosity about the functionality of the human body lead her to seeking further education in health & fitness as a career path. Charlee holds a Bachelor of Science from Washington State University in Kinesiology and Health Psychology. After college she realized that group fitness was her calling and she completed her barre3 certification under renowned barre3 founder, Sadie Lincoln. She is also a Certified Spinning® instructor. New to the Fly Fitness team, she looks forward to expanding her knowledge in the fitness industry, helping people find their inner most strength, and pushing people beyond their limits. She genuinely believes that each day is an opportunity to be better.  

Christy Flynn

Christy channels her competitive edge and passion for living an active & healthy lifestyle into her classes. Her positivity and empathy for others enable Christy to motivate and encourage those around her to reach their personal best. With experience teaching cycling, barre, Pilates, boot camps, TRX, and personal training...she pulls from this wide variety to create unique combinations of exercises for a well-rounded workout. Christy is certified as a NASM Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Health Coach and feels blessed to do what she loves and to work at Fly with such an amazing group of people.

Heather Sankey

Heather has always had a passion for fitness; being able is to help educate others on how to live a healthy lifestyle is what she's all about.  With a black belt in Hapkido, a TRX certification, a Spin certification, along with decade of experience, she provides a wealth of knowledge in a welcoming environment that will help push you to your best.  Come join Heather as she leads you on a path toward doing whatever you set your mind to!

Jamie Guzzi

Jamie is overjoyed to be at Fly Fitness, where she is able to blend the scope of her teachings together and help guide others toward optimal health and fitness.

With a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Western Washington University and more than a decade in the industry, Jamie has learned that there is not one health formula for all individuals, but rather encourages her students to find a healthy balance in their life with a focus on nutrition and a variety of healthy activities. Yoga, functional strength, mastering one’s own body weight, power exercises and HIIT work, and gaining both flexibility and mobility are among the top priorities in her program design. Jamie will push you to your edge and you will feel accomplished after a workout under her guidance. Expect an emphasis on form, breath, body awareness and individual accomplishment. Jamie is a certified Health and Fitness Specialist through American College of Sports Medicine, a Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Instructor, and holds certifications in TRX and Spin.  Jamie lives downtown Kirkland and you will often see her walking her dog Hendrix. Make sure and say hi! 

Jessie Elenbaas

Jessie has been teaching vinyasa flow yoga for over 10 years. With a background in gymnastics and dance, she feels that exercise is an important factor in enjoying life to the fullest. While yoga remains the primary format Jessie teaches now, she's also instructed hip hop, 24Tease and kickboxing classes. She loves hiking, dancing, singing, cooking and sharing meals and wine with friends. With a full-time job as a wish coordinator at Make-A-Wish and two toddlers who keep her busy, Jessie finds that yoga keeps her sane and healthy. In class she emphasizes the importance of letting go of stress and breathing in acceptance. She also brings awareness to the many benefits that each pose brings to our body/mind wellness. Providing modifications and playing good tunes are also important to Jessie so students can tune in to themselves and enjoy self discovery on their mats. Jessie is certified as an RYT200 through YogaFit and was recently certified as a SPIN instructor through FLY Fitness.

Kassidy Warren

Kassidy is a certified TRX and Schwinn indoor cycling instructor who loves the outdoors, snowboarding, hiking, running, SCUBA diving, FOOD!, and travelling to every corner of the world. He has completed two Tough Mudder Events, various 5 and 10Ks and continually looks for new challenges.

He believes in balance of fitness and fun, doesn’t take himself too seriously, and is inspired by the people and places around him. He believes you can do more when challenged and given the opportunity to succeed, which is what he will do for you in his classes. Expect high intensity intervals, great music, and a fun, challenging workout.

Kassidy lives in Kirkland with wife Erin, you can find us at the Flatstick or cruising around town.

Kristi Caggiano

Kristi is an ACE certified personal trainer who holds additional certifications with Schwinn Cycling, TRX Suspension Training, and UCanRow2 as well as an RRCA Run Coach. Her career path began in the allied health profession as a dental hygienist, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Washington University. A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Kristi has completed seven marathons, including the 2016 Boston Marathon. She enjoys sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for healthy living with her clients. Kristi lives in Kirkland where you will often find her spending time outdoors with her husband and son.

Lindsay Hayes

Lindsay is an ACE certified group fitness instructor, Schwinn certified cycling instructor, and Spinning certified cycling instructor.  She feels extremely privileged to help others on their fitness journey.  She strives to create workouts that are challenging, balanced and fun and wants her clients to leave feeling strong and accomplished.  She loves cycling, both indoor and outdoor, and can often be found riding her bike around Seattle.  Lindsay is a graduate of the University of Washington and a big Husky sports fan.  When she is not at Fly, she enjoys traveling anywhere she hasn't yet been, spending time with friends, family and her two dogs, music, reading and learning about pretty much anything, restaurant dates with her husband and slowly restoring their 1923 craftsman home.

Marian McClure

Marian has always enjoyed being active, and her dedication to athletics including tennis, basketball, volleyball, track and field at a very young age created a deeply satisfying dimension to her life. Athletics became a way to relieve stress and unload the heaviness life can sometimes dump on our shoulders. When she began practicing yoga several years ago, she discovered a way to cultivate mental and physical strength simultaneously. Since the first moments of practice, she was drawn to the way yoga merges mind and body and creates a positive aura around those who dedicate themselves to the practice. The more she practiced, the better she felt in all aspects of her life, and that realization is what led her to explore yoga a little further. Marian has attended weekend trainings with master teachers Shiva Rea and Ana Forrest, as well as the Teacher Assisting Programs with Lisa Black and Peter Avolio at Shakti Vinyasa Yoga in Seattle. Most recently she completed the Teacher Training Program at SloBody Yoga. Her decision to pursue teaching stemmed from a desire to help people feel better and live happier lives. Marian believes the energy you generate on the yoga mat produces a healthier, happier, and more balanced way of living. As a teacher, she’s committed to empowering students, cultivating confidence and courage, and helping people obtain and retain strength, youth, and flexibility. She would like students to experience personal growth and discovery on the yoga mat, and carry those experiences into their daily lives.
